HALL OF FAME
DIRTY JEWELS - GRAFFITI JEWELRY
A PIECE OF BERLIN STREET ART.
ABOUT
"One man’s trash is another man’s treasure."
We at Dirty Jewels Berlin see it the same way!
We are passionate about street art and are enraptured by the beauty of urban motifs.
The raw materials for our art are formed over the years and decades on the walls of hidden backyards: countless layers of graffiti paint in all colors of the spectrum.
Since 2022, we have been processing this disparate material in our manufactory to create pieces with unique, colorful patterns and structures. Every detail is a part of Berlin's street art history, preserved as an earring, brooch, pendant, ring or artistic sculpture.
Berlin, the vibrant metropolis with its diversity and stark contrasts, is our constant source of inspiration.
We capture the unmistakable spirit of the capital in our designs so that our customers can carry their own personal piece of Berlin with them.

MANUFACTURE
Over time, hundreds of street artists realize their art on the Berlin Hall of Fames.
The layers of paint become heavy and eventually start to flake off.
These raw materials are never identical. Only after sanding and cleaning we can see which colors are hidden in each piece. We refine the most beautiful structures by teasing out the beauty of the past with a lot of love and an eye for detail. Shape, structures and colors always develop spontaneously in our manufactory. It is only during the manufacturing process that the work of art gradually becomes clear.
Hundreds of layers of past graffiti art adorn the “Walls of Berlin” in Berlin's Mauerpark.
Due to the weight of time, parts of this art history are gradually detaching from the walls.
As all our pieces are unique, you can wear your own individual layers.

GRAFFITI JEWELRY WORKSHOP:
Create your own piece of Berlin Street Art
Berlin street art as handmade jewelry - welcome to our upcycling graffiti jewels workshop!
Transform past graffiti images from Berlin's Mauerpark into colorful jewels! Together we will transform layers of graffiti paint into colorful accessories in just a few steps and design your unique Berlin piece.
The materials from hundreds of layers of paint create the random patterns and color gradients that make your piece truly unique. The structures emerge spontaneously - only during the manufacturing process does the work of art gradually become clear. Every detail is an episode of Berlin's street art culture.
What significance does graffiti have for Berlin? We start the workshop with this question. There will be a comprehensive introduction to the materials and tools required. This is followed by an inspiring exchange of ideas before we dedicate ourselves to the actual design process, full of creativity and creative energy. Under our guidance, you will see how something “dirty” can be turned into something beautiful and how you can create your own unique jewelry. Earrings, pendants, finger rings, pins, ear studs and much more are available to choose from.
An entertaining walk to take a deep breath during or after the workshop through Berlin's trendy Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district, where you can admire the most beautiful street art works, is optionally bookable.
Of course, we take care of your physical well-being, including hot and cold drinks and fresh fruit. A snack break can be booked as required. We are also happy to fulfill your group's individual wishes. No previous knowledge is required for this course.
We look forward to seeing you!
